EBRAMEC continues to consolidate its presence in the international field of Chinese Medicine. During a recent visit to the headquarters of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) in Beijing, Dr. Reginaldo Filho, General Director, participated in a strategic meeting with the Federation’s board to discuss developments in Acupuncture regulation in Brazil, as well as important academic collaborations.

Faculdade EBRAMEC and Its Role in the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies
During the meeting, Dr. Reginaldo Filho was officially recognized as a Commissioner of the WFCMS Executive Committee of the Presidency, a title that reinforces Faculdade EBRAMEC’s role in the dissemination and strengthening of Chinese Medicine in Brazil. This recognition marks a significant milestone for the institution, which continues to expand its global presence and strengthen partnerships with prestigious international organizations.
Additionally, Faculdade EBRAMEC has confirmed its participation in the WFCMS World Congress, which will take place in October. This event will provide an opportunity to present research and further enhance the connection between Chinese Medicine and modern scientific advancements.
Advances in Acupuncture Regulation in Brazil
One of the central themes of the meeting was the evolution of the Acupuncture bill in Brazil. The World Federation of Chinese Medicine showed great interest in this process and highlighted the importance of regulation for the growth of the profession in the country. In addition, the actions of EBRAMEC College were presented, such as the ceremony of the First Graduation Class in Acupuncture authorized by the MEC of Brazil, the Annual Congress in May and events and celebrations for 2026, the 25th anniversary of EBRAMEC College
Acupuncture has stood out as an effective and increasingly recognized approach in the treatment of various health conditions. EBRAMEC College, as one of the leading educational institutions in the field in Brazil, has played a fundamental role in qualifying professionals and promoting acupuncture based on scientific evidence.

Advances in Acupuncture research and teaching
Another highlight was the private meeting with Dr. Wang Jing, PhD in Acupuncture, where the latest scientific findings on the Theory of Channels were presented, including the contents of the book Tian Hui Yi Jian, which brings new perspectives on the practice of Acupuncture.
EBRAMEC College thus reinforces its commitment to research and innovation in Chinese Medicine, promoting excellent teaching in Brazil through its Training and Postgraduate courses in Acupuncture.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Reginaldo presented Mr. Li Yu with a copy of the book Kan Li Acupressure and a specially made T-shirt to celebrate the graduation of the 1st Acupuncture Class authorized by the Ministry of Education.
Mr. Li Yu (Vice-President and Secretary-General of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine) presented Dr. Reginaldo with a plaque and diploma as the representative of Brazil on the Executive Committee of the Presidency of the WFCMS, a title that came to be identified with the highest position of Commissioner and an official gift from the WFCMS to the EBRAMEC College.
